after a year...i did my backsplash!
i posted on the other thread for her to see, but i thought i would share on my own thread too!!
i eneded up getting an amazing deal at costco for the tiles and my dad put them up for me 
my dad actually said he never thought i would have a backsplash because i wouldnt spend the $$$ on what i liked. until i ran into these at costco with my mom one day and went for it

thanks! i love it and i love that i got it for $200 less than what i thought i would have to pay for around 30s ft of it

And wait...Costco sells tile??? Which Costco? I have to go tile shopping for my bathroom and would love to check out their prices.

i am in Canada. its just this one tile that they have. it was in with the flooring that they have.
you would have to check out your costco to see if they have anything!

it was my dads first time putting it up and he said it was very easy! when he was grouting i went along behind him to sponge it
