Advice on a cat
Hi everyone. I'm here looking for help - I just moved into a new house and there are people a few doors down who own a couple cats. I'm told they are neglectful and just let it roam around, so it's kind of like a feral cat but not really. This cat loves me, he follows me around climbs all over me and desperately wants to come in the house. The first night I saw it I thought it was a lost cat so I would have let him in but my fiancé is horribly allergic. The poor thing breaks my heart because I know it wants to come in. I know there are owners so I can't actually adopt him out I'm guessing. I imagine the rescues are filled up anyway. Is the best thing to build him a little heated shelter and try to get him to use that? That's what I've been reading online that people do. Thanks!!

Re: Advice on a cat
Yes I think that's definitely what it wants. I wish I knew how to tell if it's a he or a she. These people have another cat but that one I think is happy being less social - this one really wants to play so I play with it a little everyday. When it gets colder I'll try to give it a little warm area so it doesn't just sit at my door meowing at me all the time. It breaks my heart!
