Advice for water retention?
Ive been retaining a lot of water - especially in my legs and feet. My feet actually feel sore. Any advice on how to alleviate this?

Really reduce your sodium intake and increase the amount of water you're drinking. Also make sure you elevate your feet as much as possible which will help....HTH

I had the same with my last pregnancy.. it stinks! Drink more water, sounds silly but it helps a little.. There is really not much you can do until your LO is out!

Ive been doing my best to drink lots of water. The funny thing is DH made fun of me for drinking water to relieve water retention - he just didnt get it. He was actually laughing at my logic. Oh DH!

Re: Advice for water retention?
cut out carbs for a day or two - and sodium. . that really is the only thing that really works for my retention. . oh and working out (except something in my brain is telling me you are not allowed to do that right now but I could be confused)

also if your DH will massage your feet make sure he moves from your feet towards your heart and not the other way. . that helps fluid get going in the right direction!

Re: Advice for water retention?
Keep feet elevated above your heart as much as possible.
Lay on your left side - helps blood circulation as well as water retention.
Drink lots of water and cut out salt.
