Addressing christening invitations - Is it as formal as a wedding?
I'm not sure whats appropriate here. We're having the party at a catering hall, so its a little bit fancier than a backyard party. Should I do:
Mr. & Mrs. Smith and Family The Smith Family
Ms. Jane Smith or Jane Smith
Sorry this is so stupid but I'm just checking what you think.

I did mine casual- I hand wrote the envelopes and put The __ Family or Mr. and Mrs ___

Same here-though I would have done labels if I had any at the time.

That is exactly what I did.
ETA we are having ours at a restaurant.

I did The Smith Family, if it was a family, and Mr. and Mrs. John Smith, if it were a married couple.
Either way, I don't think anyone pays attention to what their envelope says....so do what is easier!
