Addition Costs
One of the houses we're looking at will need an addition, ideally we'd do 25 x 15 or 25 x 20 for both first and second stories, with a family room on the first floor and master suite upstairs.
Anyone do an addition recently and want to share the costs? If we end up going further with the house I will of course call in a contractor to get quotes, but just looking for a rough idea.

My BIL added a great room only on the main floor decent size not massive and he told me it was just about $40,000 for everything.
My own Brother added a great room on the main level and an entire 2nd floor(3 bedrooms and 1 bath) and it was about $120,000.(he did some of the work himself)
Don't know if that helps.

I'll FM you - we have lots to discuss 
We did the dormer obviously but now we're doing a family room extension - not quite as big. It will be 20x15.
