Are they annuals or perennials?
I just bought 2 hanging plants to put on my porch and I think they are already dying 5 days later I dont know what I do wrong. AND I watered them.

It's just because of the cold weather. It's been getting too cold overnight the last couple of days. Can you put them in a garage or shed overnight? I would let them get the sun during the day, but put them inside overnight. You haven't done anything wrong.

Re: Adding color to flower beds
I put "wave petunias" in pots on the front stoop (annunals) and I have Daylilies in red & yellow (perranials). Pics in my "Gardening" album. The wave petunias hang over the pot, so you can use them in hanging pots as well. The Daylilies get bigger and bigger each year, so they spread. But you can transplant them (cut them apart) if you want to and replant them somewhere else.

They are annuals. My hanging basket is dying too....it has been cold at night. I think that was it, but I have no clue
