acupuncture
What are your feelings on acupuncture? anyone have any experience with acupuncture for infertility? any success stories?? I am considering trying it this time, but not so sure. Tell me your stories!!

ive been doing it since june. i love it for stress relief. the verdict is still out whether it has helped for fertility. had one BFN cycle with it so far, and im in the 2WW of my second cycle since starting it. i do go to an acupuncturist that specializes in fertility. either way i really like it.

I've been doing acupuncture for a whole year now. Does it help with TTC? It hasn't helped me. I'm starting my IVF cycle now, if I do get pregnant I will not contribute the pregnancy to the acupuncture at this point but to the IVF. But acupuncure is definitely addicting because it can be very relaxing if done properly; I say that because I have tried acupuncture in different places and had totally different experiences.. Choosing the right place to go trully makes all the difference.

ok well where are you ladies going?? I called one on Hawkins Ave in Holbrook...what is it called again hhmnn...Think Acupuncture I believe it is called. James told me that IVF has a 25-32% success rate but when combined with acupuncture it has a 65% success rate. Makes me wonder...

I go to the Fertility Wellness Center in Huntington, I see James Vitale, I love it there. It's the 4th place I've been to and couldn't recommend it more

i see michael bennett at SIRM (Sher Institute for Repro. Medicine) on 38th and 5th in NYC. i dont actually go there for fertility (i see dr. B) but i do go for acupuncture!! i found Michael on another site and i didnt realize he worked out of SIRM (although i knew he dealt directly with infertility) until i actually went for my first appointment.
i think he's great and would highly recommend if you are looking for someone in the city, esp. cause he deals with mainly infertility patients every day.

My best friend did accupuncture while she did her first round of ivf and she ended up with a BFP so I decided when I started that I would do it as well. My first round of IVF with accu ended in a bfn but my 2nd ivf with accu ended in a BFP. I don't know if it helped me to get pregnant, but it def helped to reduce my stress which in turn I guess helped get me pregnant. I go to the wellness center in stoneybrook.
