Acid reflux. What is it exactly?
So in the past 2 weeks, this has happened to me twice.
Last night i was in bed and all of a sudden i felt like fluid was coming up in my throat and into my mouth. Like i had thrown up, but i hadn't. Then i began coughing and so forth. But it tasted very acidic.
Is this acid reflux or some other bizzare thing?

That's actually what i had to drink an hour before i went to bed.

Sorry, I get it really bad, always have, I think the OTC meds are ok - Pepcid, Mylanta, tums if it gets to that point. I have it right now as a matter of fact THe old wives tale is that the more you get it and heartburn,m the more hair your baby will have

Well i haven't had any heart burn at all (28 weeks) or any burning sensation. just the fluid backing up and it's only been at night when i lay down to go to bed!

sure is!! it has happened to me a bunch of times, usually if i had a late dinner or something heavy before bed....milk works for some, but not me!!

I had a bowl of cheerios for dinner around 8pm last night, which is VERY late for me. That was probably it.
