Re: Acid/heartburn
I swear by pepsid- although it won't give immediate relief.
I've heard that milk helps.
Feel better

Re: Acid/heartburn
Sometimes eating something light and bland can help..like a piece of bread..
Also keep track of the culprits...for me ICE TEA and LEMONADE just make it worse..

I totally feel for you. Do you have Zantac in the house? I know Dr. H said I could take that. If not, I would say just sit upright and drink more milk. Hopefully it will pass soon!

Re: Acid/heartburn
Vanilla ice cream, just a couple of spoonfuls, always helped me. So did very cold water because it would cool the burning and dilute the acid. Definitely drink tons and tons of water in between meals and sleep in an upright position.

OMG Wish I knew this last night, my mom had zantac but said it said no for pg on it.
Anyway, I got a home remedy ( baking soda) online and it worked!!
