Accupuncture?
Any reccommendations on places in Nassau/Suffolk.
Cost? Does ins cover it? Do you think it really helps?

I paid (I think) $75 for my consultation appointment and $60 per session.
My insurance did not cover it (Empire Govt)
My first 2 IVF cycles I did not do acu, my lining was never above a 6 - both cycles failed. My last IVF cycle I started seeing Andy and at my last monitoring appt my lining was 9.3!!!!! And it was my BFP cycle, I am now 15 weeks PG.
I would totally recomend it to anyone, it was so relaxing.

I go to Long Island Holistic in Lake Success (they also have one in deer park) I am a changed person since accupuncture!
I do it for anxiety/stress relief and it has really changed they way I manage stress/feel about it.
I pay $70 weekly-no insurance coverage for me :( They do accept ins. mine just doesnt cover it. Its expensive but its worth it for now.

Thanks girls! I found a bunch in my ins website but now I need to find out if there is coverage for it. $60/ week is a lot. Do all acupuncturists do IF treatment?. I guess I need to call. I just don't want them to yes me if it's not a specialty if theirs

Another rec for Kaplan. Went to him for my second, and successful!, ivf cycle. He is great.
My insurance only covered acupuncture for certain things, infertility was not one of them :(

I go to Dr. Yang. She has a office in NY and in Jericho. She has had 11 BFPs this month :)
I pay out of pocket 2x a week but, it has regulated my cycle and I believe it is worth it.

I started going for acupuncture at LI Holistic in Babylon Village after my first failed IVF. I can't say enough good things about Andrea and her team. I am now 27 wks pregnant.
I paid $75/session and that was with an insurance discount. I went once a week and then twice a week as my ER got closer. I also had the acupuncturist (not Andrea, she was on vacation at the time) come to the RE's office to do a treatment on me the morning of my transfer. I continued to go until I was about 20 weeks pregnant.
