Accident in East Northport...
A Dix Hills man is dead because a cab driver was high on cocaine, ran a red light, and killed him! The cab driver is still alive, I believe in stable condition. Two others are in the hospital, and the Dix Hills guy is dead.
I know we say this every day! WTH is wrong with people! This was on www.news12.com last night and I saw it on the news this AM. The car was completley totaled!
Im sure the article will be in Newsday today.
To make it even sadder, my fsil was telling me last night her receptionist @ work was outside crying. She lost her husband on 9-11 and couldnt figure out why the receptionist was so upset. Turns out the receptionists parents were in a bad accident and the father was killed. She heard this story last night and believes that the victims of this tragedy could be them. I will definitley update this post later when we find out more!

I read the article in Newsday! 
I cant believe I live literally 3 mins. away from where it happened and didnt hear any cops or anything!
So sad! I dont think the couple is the same couple my fsil was talking about. I will see her in a little while to find out.
So Sad!

Yes. I saw that as well. That is why I dont think my fsil's receptionist and this accident are connected. Her coworkers DH passed away on 9/11 so the boys lost their dad then.
I really dont think there's a connection.
