About what age
Do they go from laying down to sitting up?

Sitting up alone as early as 4 months
Pulling themselves to sit? About 6 months

My daughter is 6 months old and doesn't sit up on her own yet. SHe can sit up assisted, but not by herself and is far from pulling her self up too. But it looks as if she's ready to crawl, go figure.

i think going from a laying down position to a sitting position (like a full crunch you mean?) is not for a long long time but they may be able to roll into a sit or crawl into a sitting position soon.

Gianna can pull herself from laying down if she's slightly inclined, otherwise it's a long crunch for her and she winds up rolling over. She's 6.5 months old.
