? about Clomid??

I wanted to know how good this stuff is? If my AF comes on November 9, 10th then I have to go back to my Fertility Dr and they want me to be about day 5 on my cycle, and they are going to do an ultra sound again and put me on Clomid...I would rather just skip all the steps of tt get PG and use the IVF method

I'm not sure I really understand.

Are you asking how much it increases your chances?

What kind of IF are you dealing with?

I know for my RE, he said that with unexplained IF, the chances of us getting pregnant were 5%. For Clomid + IUI, it was 10-12%. For injectables + IUI, 20-25%. For IVF, 50-60%.

I agree with the other post, it depends on what type of IF you are dealing with.

<------ She is the result of my first cycle on Clomid. But I don't ovulate on my own, so Clomid was the ONLY option for me before IVF.

Don't just jump right into IVF, explore all of your options first!

Just started Clomid again this month.

It depends on what type of infertility you are dealing with. For me, I don't ovulate on my own so the Clomid was enough to make me ovulate and get pregnant.

Theres definately no hard and fast answer to that question- It really depends on what type oif IF you have and it also could come down to a finance issue if you don't have adequate insurance....IVF is far more expensive...

This pg. Clomid/IUI didnt work after 5 cycles and we ended up doing 2 rounds of IVF to get a BFP...My issues are mild PCOS
( anovulatory) and have no MF
One thing about IF- theres no rhyme or reason for any of it !
