? About A Present For Your Boss
DH's boss just gave him a $15 gift card from Starbucks for Xmas and DH is basically freaking out b/c he didn't get something for his boss.
Should he go out now and get something? I kinda think it will look like an afterthought. Any ideas? Your thoughts?

My bosses get me something for christmas, but I don't get anything for them. It more of like a thank you from them for all the work I do for them.
I do bring in candy and bake cookies and things for everyone each year.

I really don't think he needs to get his boss anything in return. In a lot of offices the norm is that bosses give to employees but employees don't give to bosses.

I agree. I get my secretary something, for example, but don't get (or expect) anything in return.
