? about 3 day potty training method

has anyone successfully done this with a toddler that still sleeps in the crib? how did the nights work? I am sure we will have accidents, but do they wake up asking to go and eventually stop going at night?

also looking to hear from anyone who has experience with this method...the good, the bad and the ugly. thinking about attempting it with my almost 2yo

I actually just did this a few days ago with my daughter who is 26 months. We started on Thursday. We kept her diaperless all day and in a diaper that night. She woke up wet Friday but had no accidents all day and did both (poop and pee) on her own without me prompting every time. We used the little stand-alone potty so it is always near her.Put her in a diaper Friday night and Saturday woke dry and saying "pee pee, potty) as soon as she woke up. My husband and I couldn't believe. I still have her in a diaper at night and for naps just in case but within the next few days I'm going to put wee wee pads under the fitted sheet in case she goes and I'll have a set of new sheets ready to go just in case. We also have the cover for the mattress. It really worked unbelievably well, however be prepared to be inside for a few days. I bought one of those travel Pottys to bring in the car just in case.

I tried training underwear instead of going bottomless at first and she peed in them like 4 times within the first 2 hours of wearing them. Going diaperless did the trick. I just put her in a long nightgown.

My DS was not still in the crib but we do not have a bathroom on the same floor as the bedrooms and it's gated to get down the stairs. He would just call us if he had to go.

We did the 3 day method and by the end of day 2 we were accident free.

LOVED the 3 day method, and DS is in a crib. We followed the plan to a "T", no diaper from morning 1, underwear for naps and nighttime too. We did it for 3 days over New Years weekend. He goes on a regular potty with a potty seat, although we have a portable one too, and he tells us when he has to go- we gently remind him if hes doing a potty dance. Last night we caught him going on the regular potty by himself with out saying anything to us bc he had to "go" lol. IT says to stop liquids 2-3 hours before sleeping so that's what we did, and he wakes up dry. This was a kid whose diaper was never dry after sleeping! He has called us if hes in his crib and has to use the potty
