You gotta sleep...which mean Josephs gotta sleep....so if this is how Josephs sleeps, well than this is whats gotta be done!

Isn't it funny how other mothers (who should know better) really know how to get under your skin??
Make no apologies. He is your child and you know how to handle him best. Feel free to preface telling them about his sleeping situation with "And I don't want to hear any sh!t".
AND, no one has the right to tell you are a "terrible mother" for something like that! I swear...some people!!

I'm sorry but I don't think its a bad thing to do listen I know alot of peoplew ho do it and I am one of them. Yeah it will be a hard thing to break and have the child sleep in his/her own room but hey thats your problem not anyone elses. When peopleask me about my DD sleeping habits I tell them I lay in bed with her and all and then put her in h er bed but if she wakes up in the middle of the nite I put her in my bed and sleep there. WHen they say things to me I tell them why dont' you come over then and stay up with my DD while I get some sleep so I can function at work.
I am sorry I am not going to be able to sleep if I let my DD stay in her bed crying. I am going to be up until she falls asleep anyway.
A bad mother would beat thier child starve them and neglect them your not a bad mother at all.

Dont listen to anyone!!! Julia sleeps in our bed too, and its much easier for me cause I BF as well, so I had to hear people say stuff also. I just ignor!!

I'm not BF but Alyson will sleep in our bed either part of the night or all night if she's had a rough early evening (bad gas, overtired, crying alot).
Only YOU know what's best for you and your child. I agree with the above posters that there are probably more people than we know that co-sleep.
