AA Baggage Check-in
From what I read on their website they charge you $15 for the first checked in back and $25 for any extra bags.
What about a car seat and a stroller? We're going to have to pay $50 to check those in??!!! I'm sorry I sound so ignorant but this is our first time flying with our son.
Thanks!

I don't think they charge you extra for strollers. If you are not using your car seat on the plane, then they might charge you (not sure).

Check their website

As I stated in my post, I did go on their website, but I was wondering about the car seat. From what I understand, we can use the carseat if there is a seat available (he is a lap child) and if there isn't any then I think they'll take it and store it. I think the stroller fits in the overhead bin.
I just wanted to see what other people's exeprience was when traveling with children.

Re: AA Baggage Check-in
I know many airlines allow you to check the carseat & stroller for free - it is usually disclosed on their website.
I think your best bet may be to call AA since they don't specifically mention strollers and carseats in their policies (but - they do disclose their policies for more common things such as antlers and javelins).

I had to close my door when reading the list I was laughing so hard
ETA - You better have your $100 ready if you want to check your antlers!
