Re: A very Furry Christmas
This will be our 3rd year going....always a good time!! We have gone once on Thanksgiving weekend and it was awesome... weather was great, jeans and a sweater was fine and NO ONE was there I guess because people weren't in the Christmas mood yet!!!
Last year we went the second week in December... Still a good experience but it was significantly colder! Still ok on lines....park doesn't get too crowded.
We are going back on Thanksgiving weekend this year again so I am looking forward to it and hoping for decent weather (40*/50*) would be AWESOME!!
You can do pretty much everything in just one day which is nice and the ride is not horrible so we leave here (St. James) around 7 and get there around 930... Park opens at 10, closes at 7pm and we are home by 9pm.... Long day, but not necessary to stay over night....
Have fun!!

A very Furry Christmas
My DS is 19 months. I am considering going because he LOVES elmo and ernie. Only wants to reach sesame street books and goes everywhere with his sesame street plush toys.
My friend started taking her daughter at 9 months and said they loved it every year.

If you're a AAA member it's $9 off two day tickets. We're debating whether or not to go. We went last year during Halloween (two weeks before Sandy) and we had a blast!

The very first year I took my son he was about 17 months and we thought it might be too early but there was a lot he was able to do. Had such a great time that we have always gone back...

We took DS when he was 15 months and just the look of awe on his face during the Elmo's World show was worth every penny. He had a blast!

You're right...it doesn't say 1....i'm probably just mixing it up with the general time throughout the year. We have season passes so we go a bunch.
The parade doesn't get too crowded...we only "get a spot" about 10 minutes before it starts and can usually squeeze our stroller in somewhere so that DS has a front row. It is not like the Disney parade where people line up 2 hours in advance... There is a 4pm parade too... its my favorite part, we usually stay for both parades, but the night one is nice b/c of the lights...
