A Trip Advisor post just almost made me cry!
OMG--- What's wrong with me!!
Here is the post...
The clerks at this hotel were the best I have ever seen. I had to stay in NJ for 2 days to visit my mother in the hospital. I was upset and depressed. The desk clerk somehow sensed I needed some comfort and offered me a warm cookie when I checked in, it was oatmeal like I used to make with Mom, I started to cry and told her why I was visiting. She reached over and squeezed my hand. When I got back from the hospital their was a plate of cookies and a glass of milk in my room with a note. I thought that kind of compasion and service was a thing of the past. The room was clean and every one I came in contact with seemed happy to see me.

I must be too skeptical, because I totally think that is a bogus review. A "warm" cookie??? who says that? and how would the front desk have "warm" cookies on hand as guests checked in?? 
i guess i'm just too skeptical.....
either that, or it's been a long day

I wonder if thats a Doubletree Inn. Doubletree Inn gives you warm cookie when you check in and they do give them to you in your room at night.
I wonder if he confused corporate policy with genuine warmth. Anyway, if it involved a cookie, who cares!!!

I was just going to say that....
I got stuck in Chicago on my way to New Orleans and we got put up in a Doubletree for the night. After being frustrated and tired (it was about midnight) they handed us warm chocolate chip cookies when we checked in and I swear it was the nicest thing to happen that day!

It is actually a Hilton Garden Inn-- and I think they do have like cookies and apples at reception...
I believe it!!
