A TMI ?? for the Home Board
We moved into our house a little less than a year ago. I had the entire house professionally cleaned before we moved in.
TMI part . . .
One toilet in the house will NOT stay clean. I mean, I can scrub the heck out of it right now, and after peeing in it 3 times it has a yellow/brown film inside the bowl below the water line. I don't mind doing a weekly cleaning, but an hourly/daily cleaning is driving me up a wall.
Any ideas on what I can use to scrub it really good so it stops getting this nasty film?????
I have tried, Lysol toilet bowl cleaner, baking soda, and vinegar.

try the clorox bleach tabs you put in the back of the toilet. I still clean it but it does not get the film in between

We have those toilet bowl cleaners that are blue that attach to the inside side of the toilet. It has a blue liquid in it and everytime you flush, it adds a fragrance to the air and cleans the toilet and makes it all bubbly (in the soapy sense). We have it one toilet and we've noticed a difference. We clean (I actually should say, DH) the toilet every 2 weeks.

You may need to clean out the tank, not just the bowl. Ours was all gross, b/c a bolt was rusting.
My MIL also reccomends the Kabom toilet cleaner that goes in the tank, but I haven't tried it yet. I was told not to use the bleach tabs, b/c it will damage the parts in the tank.
