 | a question about..... I was wondering if anyone wouldn't mind giving me some tips on how to write a cover letter. I am trying to post my resume on a website to apply to some positions and also to sub and it's asking me for a cover letter! I haven't sent out a resume in five years.... since we moved, I am back to square one now.

I am planning on going back to school for information technology and school librarian and wanted to know if there was anyone else out there who changed their careers... just looking for some tips and advice on how to transition.

 Thank you so much!!

 Edited for spelling..

 | Re: a question about..... If you do a google search, you will find a lot of cover letter samples.I usually start with

"Please accept the attached resume in consideration for the position of______ listed in/on _________.

Then I tell a little about relevent education and experience, then a second paragraph about personal qualities I have that I feel are good for the posiiton and why I'm excited about it and I close with a thank you and a "Do not hesitate to contact me..."
