A new watch for Mom...help

Mom's 60th is the end of the month, and she mentioned she needs a new everyday watch. She needs something that is waterproof and can take a lot of abuse/wear and tear. It can't be too flashy, but it needs to feminine - nothing too bulky. She is very modest. So, I want to spend money on something that will literally stand the test of time, but nothing too over the top - ie a rolex or Tag - she would freak.

What do you recommend?

i'm a huge fan of the citizen eco-drive line. doesn't need a battery, runs on light. and if she wears it every day, she'll never have an issue.

this is my current everyday watch and I LOVE it!

In the past 3 years, I've probably purchased 10 citizen eco-drives (bp gifts, mom, DH, me, etc). I always order from bluedial.com. Shipping is free (but if you need it for mother's day, you'll have to do sat shipping for $25) and they're an authorized citizen dealer.
