A new Dr. B patient....FINALLY!!

Hi everyone just wanted to say hi again. I had taken some time off from LIF but now I'm back. I spent most of my time on the ttc after miscarriage board but thought I'd come back here since I'm a new Dr. B patient.
Here's my deal
ttc for 17 months after 1 year went to Dr. Zapantis at East Coast-3 IUIs (w/clomid and ovidrel) there
1st failed 2nd and 3rd were back to back and I miscarried. Got preggo on my own in between cycles and I miscarried again. I've had two D&C's.

I'm so happy that I made the decision to go see Dr. Braverman. He has already done more testing and dug deep into my past medical history (of 3 miscarriages in 11 months) than East Coast every did. I feel very happy to be in the hands of a Dr. that cares and truly wants to find out the problem.
It's very bittersweet for me as I'm still grieving.
I look forward to sharing experiences and accepting advice from all you ladies here.
ETA: Received a call today from Cytogenx that they had faxed the results from my tissue sample to Dr. B. 50 minutes later Dr. Braverman calls me! The reason for the miscarriage was chromosomal-trisomy 16. :(

You WONT be sorry you switched to Dr. B....he's awesome!!!! Best thing I ever did!!!

I responded to your post on the other board before I saw this one. Im a new patient of Dr B' s also!! My DH and I went yesterday. I was honestly scared at first to even make the appointment but Im glad I did.

I had 2 missed miscarriages. In July and December at 7 and 9 weeks. I had d&cs for both. This last pregnancy I really thought was going to be OK. Even though it could be "bad luck twice" I decided it was worth going through whatever testing I had to so that I never have to hear that my baby has no HB ever again....

I am sorry for your losses- I have suffered through 4 miscarriages and am also a patient of Dr. B.. he really is great and i wanted to wish you all the luck in the world

I have had 2 miscarriages and now just started seeing Dr Braverman. You will be in great hands!!
