A little down today...UPDATE
So I just got back from my RE, and on CD10, I really don't have any follies showing. Not even little ones. He told me NOT to be discouraged that it is still early in my cycle and not to freak out. They took blood and will call me later today to see what day I should come in for another check. It's just hard not to feel a little down. I had these really unrealistic expectatioins that I was going to walk in, he'd tell me I had 2 great follies and to give myself the ovidrel tomorrow night and then we'd do back to back IUIs. I need to settle down!
And to top it all off...we got a call from my MIL last night, and DH's cousin is PG again. It's not that I'm unhappy for her, it's just that they said they only wanted one and had no intentions on trying for #2, well if you didn't want to try for #2, did you take any precautions?
OK, I feel better now that I got that all out!
UPDATE 2/4/10
So I went to the RE today and there are no follies larger than 10. They will call me this afternoon with the blood test results. Again they told me not to worry. EASIER SAID THAN DONE! He also said that he has had successful IUI cases where he added additional clomid mid cycle. SO depending on my blood test results, I may have to take 2 or 3 more days of clomid and then hopefully trigger on Tuesday or Wednesday.
I know that with my last IUI I didn't have a mature follie until CD17, so I may just be a late bloomer. I'll know more later today.

I just got a call from the doctors office. They want me in on Thursday morning for another check, sono and blood.

we are in a similar boat - im one day ahead of you on CD11 with no mature follies to speak of. i too had this unrealistic expectation of going in an being ready to trigger....
oh the ups and downs of TTC/fertility treatments...
what meds are you on this cycle?
i go back on friday so we are totally buddies this cycle!

I finished 150mg Clomid on CD7. I had no response to 50mg, and only 1 follie on 100mg, so we decided to try 150mg this time around. I'm also doing my ovidrel shot then endometrin once/if I have an IUI. Should this cycle be a bust we are going to injectibles .
I go back on Thursday morning...so I am praying my little follies are just late bloomers.

i had no response to clomid but i only did one round at 50mg. im on injectibles now and its either all or nothing - hyperstim or no follies... hopefully this second round this cycle does the trick!!
btw injectibles are not so bad - the side effects in my opinion are much less than clomid and other pills.
but hopefully you'll get your follies and a BFP and never have to find that out!!

Dont worry.. It might be exactly what u said u might be a late bloomer!!
Chin up and stay positive. If it was day 17 last time and u are only at 10 or 11.. that a lot of time for them to develop to full size.
