A little bit stupid now after baby
I was wondering if I am the only one this has happened to? I have found that since I had Jack I can barely get a full sentence out. If I am trying to tell DH to get something, or am trying to describe something to someone - I just cannot find the words to complete the sentence.
Please tell me this will go away and that I will not be stupid for the rest of my life. It could be the painkillers that I am on maybe (I hope so at least)

OMG me too!! I just had my baby last week (Thursday) and I sound like a fool!! Good to know I'm not alone.

Definitely happened to me when I had my first. It didn't get worse with my 2nd. In my case, it hasn't gone away. I always say I have a "mommy brain".

You are not alone. I find I still have "Mommy brain" almost 8 months later, but it's gotten better. I was just so completely overwhelmed in the beginning.

It could be lack of sleep. I used to swear I told DH something, or he would swear he told me something and I just couldn't remember.  Still happens.

Nope, you're normal! I've been having trouble with switching words around and not using proper english. DH thinks it's hysterically funny.
