a HUGE scare this morning

Hi Girls, I got out of bed as my normal routine would be every morning for work and i felt as if iwas gettign my PERIOD.. i went to the bathroom and yes i ws BLEEDING! I called my hubby and then my mom came right over.. I was so scared the doc told me to stay in bed or to keep my legs up on the couch.. was so scared such emotions were going through my mind, my hubby cried we were so scare

anyway i went to the doc, got an internal sono and the baby is FINE thank goodness and its heartbeat is 167 as when i went 3 weeks ago. after that i saw the doc and she said that there really is not an answer for y i bled, but to take it easy. All i know is that I was so scared, and concerned and worried and I did not know what was going on. I go back in a week for a sono and the finger prick test.

did anyone else have this ?

I am in my 11th week, 10 weeks 5 days to be exact.

I need hugs and sticky dust Chat Icon

I had a similar experience around 14 weeks.

Scary bleeding, clots, just like AF.

It turned out to be "unexplained cervical bleeding".

Never returned for me, hopefully it won't come back for you.

Re: a HUGE scare this morning

I had bleeding. I had a cyst rupture at 8 weeks or so, and then I have a low placenta which was causing earl bleeding at around 10 weeks. Both times I paniced and went to the ER. Both times I got a sono & everything was fine. They did not discover the low placenta issue until my level II.

I am 21 weeks & doing great!Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: a HUGE scare this morning

Glad to hear everything is okay! I had a polyp that burst during my first pg and wouldn't you know it, I have another one that my RE never mentioned. My OB said it was huge when I was released to him. No rupture yet, but I know it will probably happen

Re: a HUGE scare this morning

I had a hematoma near the placenta at 9weeks. I was bleeding bright red blood for about a week. It resolved on its own and I have a healthy baby now

Re: a HUGE scare this morning

aww. that is so scary, I am sorry u had to go through that. I am glad everything with the baby was ok.
I had a similiar scare around 11 weeks and it was low-lying placenta, and some other issues.
I'm sure thats what it is. Take it easy!
hugs to u and dh

My SIL had that happen at 16 weeks due to a low lying placenta. Her DD is 3 months old tomorrow so if the baby is ok, you are fineChat Icon
