A Good Double Stroller for MIL as Gift
Hi All,
I'm due in 6 weeks and I wanted to buy my MIL, who will be watching my DS and nephew (will be 9-10 months) during the week, a double stroller. At most, she'll just walk the neighborhood and do quick shopping trips to the supermarket.
What is a decent double stroller (I'm guessing preferably not side-by-side) we can buy for her to use? She's very petite too.
Any suggestions would help me b/c I know nothing about double strollers
TIA

I find my side by side very easy to push and to navigate in places. you'll have to find out which strollers are compatible with your infant carrier car seat. that may limit your choices. i'd look for something used since it will only be used for walks and things (will she be going to the store too?)

thanks for the info...I'm not opposed to side-by-side if you're saying they are pretty easy to navigate, that's good to know We have the Peg Perego carseat. If we buy new, I'll just hold onto it for when we have 2 kids of our own.
Any other suggestions, please help me out TIA

Re: A Good Double Stroller for MIL as Gift
I adore my Bumbleride Indie Twin soooo much but it could cost you a small fortune. Some people love their City Mini doubles, but I didn't care for it. The City Select would let your MIL switch out the seats and go from 1-2 seats on the same stroller. None of those strollers are cheap (city mini may look cheaper at a glance but doesn't come with accessories). A friend has the Peg Perego Aria Twin and likes it. I don't remember it you can put the infant carrier in it though.

I love my Joovy (side by side). I have it in green. I use it every weekend for my 2 yr old & 6 mo old. Get compliments on it everywhere. It maneuvers OK. It's also CHEAP.
