A few questions I need help with please

Ok a few questions I need help with please!
1. What does lupron do?
2. my doctor said I won't be seen in his office for about a week and a half to two weeks. Aren't I suppost be monitored while taking lupron?
3. Is it possible to O 2-3 days before AF is due? I just O I was told on monday and AF is due on the 16th. Is that possible!?
I'm again so confused! Anything you can share with me will be a big help!thanks girls!

Lupron works to supress your ovaries and keep you from ovulating. They need to supress you before you start with the stim portion of your cycle. You should get a bleed about 7 or 8 days after starting Lupron. At that point you would go in on CD3 for bloodwork and sono and you should be able to start your stims then.

My RE would then start monitoring me 3 days after starting the stims.

Lupron "turns off your brain" and stops it from stimulating your ovaries. you'll probably continue while you are also stimming. Periods may be hard to predict with lupron. i know sometimes it is delayed. At Nsuh they have you call when you get your period to give you an appt to start your stims.

Since lupron 'turns your brain off' that is why we have to use IM progesterone since our brains don'r produce the progesterone to support a pregnancy.
