A few questions
My ultrascreen was last Monday and now it's Thursday and I haven't heard back. I had said to my dr "So no news is good news" and he said "No. I always call." How long did it take you? Since they are closed all weekend I figured by tomorrow lunchtime if I haven't heard I will call. Is that pushy? I am anxious about the results.
Also, I have my next appt on March 26. I will be 16w5d. Do you think it is pushy to ask for a sono that night to see if we can tell the gender? I don't want to be annoying but I want answers KWIM?

Re: A few questions
So call them and ask how long should you wait to hear back regarding your results.
As far as finding out the sex, just ask nicely at the appointment. You'll never know if you don't ask. But I wouldn't make a phone call to just ask. While you're there say "Hey, do you think we can find out the sex tonight or is it still too early".
I have a friend who gets a sono at every appointment because she is high risk. And she had one done at 17 weeks and they couldn't tell the sex. She had to wait until 19 weeks to find out.
But each doc is different.

Re: A few questions
Well since no one is answering really I will assume I am being neurotic and annoying.

This seems like the right approach. You are not being neurotic. I will be worrying just as much. I go for my ultrascreen on Tuesday.

Re: A few questions
I remember the nurse telling me that they had to send the ultrascreen tests to a lab. The one where they prick your finger and the blood goes onto the paper. It is the only lab in the country that does the test. (I asked bc all my bloodwork has to go to Quest-and she said that quest does not do the testing). So the results may not even be back yet.
