a doctor funny
DH went for his annual yesterday and he gained a few pounds. (i know, horrors).
He told the doctor he wanted to lose 5 (I'm not sure from where, he's so freaking skinny) and the doctor said "dont you dare lose any weight, your pregnant wife will resent you!"

not so funny, because it is true. My husband is pretty fit as it is... and he loves to tell me that he wants to lose as much as I gain during the pregnancy. He even went on a "diet" and fitness kick in my second trimester. He lost about 10-15 pounds at the same time I gained 15 pounds. I was pretty resentful LOL... its annoying hearing him obsess over his weight, when I'm here PREGNANT!!! What happened to men gaining sympathy weight with their wives?

lol, that's great advice. my DH has put on a couple of pounds (he's still a freaking stick figure though), but he said it's because he wants to help me get back in shape once the baby arrives and it will be easier if he needs to lose some weight too. what a guy (and what a good excuse for gaining a few!)
