Is it a feeling that is coming and going in any pattern? Or is it a constant feeling?
If its coming and going, I would say that you *MAY* be in very early labor.
If its constant, you may have a urinary tract infection.

coming and going... Very occasional - like once or twice an hour maybe...
I know what UTI's feel like, unfortunately - I get them all the friggin time!

Well then my friend.... sounds to me like your baby and your body are gearing up for some BIRTHIN!
NOT saying its going to happen tonight, the feeling you are describing is exactly what I had going on for about 3 days before I lost my mucous plug, then about 10 hours after that my water broke and labor started (pretty textbook stuff LOL)
So my advice:
Relax.... eat something, take a shower, make sure your bag is packed and ready, and just TRY to get as much sleep as you can.

It can pick up. Can you go for a good walk? Have sex? Do squats? It defintiely sounds like it's starting. It can also stop but try to keep moving and see if you can stir things up in there.

I can do the walking and the squats by myself - the sex will have to wait until DH gets home - ugh - but who can have sex when you have menstrual cramps and a sharp urge to pee????

Deliberately go clean the kitchen sink and don't stop for 2 hours. Worked for me.   I like to think I deliberately cleaned that kitchen, but after all this time, I think it was something I couldnt' help but do.

Sorry just trying to move things along for you. I had contractions that kept dying because I would go to bed when I got them. So keep moving. I'll bet if you don't go tonight the doc will strip your membranes and that will take care of it.

Sound like pre-labor to me. Your body is probably just gearing up for the real thing. You'll know its real contractions when no matter what you do you're still uncomfortable.

Ummm - hell no - I have my own house to clean!!!
DH thinks the full moon on Monday will get this baby out! We will see what happens!!!
