Literally the day before our place went on the market, we had a condo meeting where there were a few new rules presented. One of which is you cannot move in or out on a weekend, AND you need to pay $150 to the management company, so they can have a maintenance man on site to supervise the move.

I am moving in less than 3 weeks and have planned to move on a Friday-- even though we are not closing until Tues because of this new rule. It's annoying especially since we will inevitably run out of time and could use the extra day or two-- but whatever.

The last 2 sundays in a row, there are people moving out of the building. No maintenance guy to pay $150. No inconvenience and moving *when* they want to move out.

I really wanted to call the managment company last week to tell them about the first person, but DH talked me out of it. Today when there is another person doing it-- I am p!ssed and annoyed that they are getting away with not paying the money, etc.

Now, both of these people may be renting from an owner, as opposed to being owners themselves. We need to inform the mgmt company that we are leaving, and there is no way we can "sneak" out.

Should I both calling my mgmt company out of principle, or just leave it since I know we'll have to pay the fee and move on the Fri as originally planned?
