9 month old cries about everything

My DD cries and fights when she is doing anything except playing. So that would be all feedings, all diaper changes, changing outfits, going to sleep....I just took a step back and realized how much she cries. We've been joking around that she has a bad case of FOMO but honestly, it's not funny anymore and I'm starting to lose it. Any suggestions?

Sorry Chat Icon that is so frustrating.
DD was kinda like that & it drove me close to insanity!
She's 2& a half now & she's the happiest, funniest little thing but still such a fighter, just very strong willed.
The only thing that kind of worked (and still does) is to make a game of things or say something funny when she starts to get moody.
Sometimes I call her a funny name & she cracks up laughing & she's easier to deal with.
When she was younger I would start singing stupid songs to distract her while changing her diaper or throw her pants on her head & play peek a boo.
I know it can't all be fun & games & they do need discipline but I was starting to yell & loose it everyday so I had to lighten up.
Good luck!

Like pp said, I would just try to be silly and make most things seem like "playing". It can be hard constantly trying to provide entertainment but when you can turn those cries into giggles it's all worth it. I'm sure it's hard and draining, but maybe just try to regroup and take a new approach. I sing silly songs when doing a diaper change like wheels on the bus and move her legs in a circle or do the open and close with her legs. I also try to keep a lot of possible distractions within reach of the changing table. DD will be crying and kicking and if I just hand her something she doesn't normally get to play with she instantly stops (may be something simple as a tube of toothpaste). Keep trying, just get her engaged however. DD is a big fan of "stinky feet", the alphabet, peek a boo, etc.

I think it's just kind of a phase that she has to grow out of. I think it has to do with her being able to move and do what she wants. When she's in the highchair or on the changing table, she's stuck. She'd rather be on the floor and able to roam free when she wants to. At least that's what I think, based on how DS acts. She'll outgrow it.
