9 month check up and my Ped is leaving...
I LOVED her......she was young and so very nice. Her hubby got a great job and off to CT she is going! I will miss her!
I have some BIG children:
James 24 lbs 6 ounces
Claire 23 lbs 8 ounces
And they thought they were going to be small!

Yes, it was s surprise! She did recommend another Dr. in the practice or the Nurse Practioner. I am fond of the NP, so I will stay with her. I like the people in who work in the office, so I really don't want to change!

Tell me I'm not a freak - we both got totally choked and teary eyed  I really like her! I like the NP too and Dr Mesnick so I'm not worried but I will miss Dr Springer.
We def need to meet up soon!
ETA: you have some big babies! Nate's only 21.5lbs but 30 inches tall

Long baby! WOW..both DH and I are on the shorter side! Poor kids!
I was thinking of sending her a little something thanking her for being so great to this insane mother of twins! Do you think that is a bit weird?
And no, you are not a freak at all...I got teary yesterday too....I was also a bit speechless!

Aww, I think a gift is a very sweet idea and not weird at all! Go fot it. I plan on emailing her which IS weird  I certainly was in there enough to see her especially when I was on maternity leave and would run over there if he cried too hard 
I guess you could say I'm on the short side too (all 5 feet of me  ) so when I hold Nate people actually laugh.
We're in the park bright and early every Saturday morning on the swings (7:30  ) so if you have little early birds, we'd welcome the company
