9/11 memorial tour
Has anyone taken the tour while visiting? I'm wondering if the guided tour is necessary or you can just walk around on your own? Thanks!

9/11 memorial tour
We went once on our own and then we went back with family for the guided tour. The tour isn't necessary but it was interesting to hear their personal experience of that day. The tours were given by people who , worked, lived etc in the area that day. They also discussed design of the memorial.
