8week shots

Dd got hers today and is now inconsolable. I just gave her Tylenol hoping it helps. Anyone else been through this and can give me an idea of how long it will last....just tonight; tomorrow; tomorrow night???
My poor girl... I don't know what to do for her

Whenever DD got like that it usually only lasted a few hours, although it felt like forever. Other than tylenol, you can give her some skin to skin time with you. I would nurse DD that way and then she'd fall asleep that way which usually helped. Sorry you're both going through this.

DS3 just got his today too. Dr said fever only one day if that. Soreness could last a couple days. I'm sure the Tylenol will help. ds been fine just tired.

grace got hers at 2pm. by 630, she was shrieking, shaking, screaming like i've never heard i called the ped bc I didnt know the new dosage on tylenol. i gave her tylenol and 10 minutes later, she was OUT cold. She was find after that

I was just coming on to post about this. DD got hers today too, at 2:30. She was fine all day until around 8:00. then she started screaming and crying inconsolably as well. We gave her a warm bath, which helped but she started screaming again as soon as she came out. I called the dr who told me to give her tylenol, but by the time I got off the phone she was asleep. She just woke up and seems OK for now so I haven't given the tylenol yet and wont unless we need to. Dr. said it could last through the night, getting better tomorrow.

Oh, and Dr said warm compresses on the injection sites would help too.
