80th percentile
We went for the results of the Level II and the doctor sounded surprised when he read that the baby was in the 80th percentile. Does this mean that our will be really big when he is born? We are both average height. My DH was small when he was born and I was average - any thoughts? Just curious........

Re: 80th poercentile
They kept telling me that too with my DD.. they kept saying how big she was and how huge she will be when born b/c i had GD.. They thought she was around 8 lbs 12oz or something like that at my 40th week sono.. she was born one day past due date and was only 7lbs 5ozs.. ..
Dont get worried.. it will all be fine and your baby will be fine.

Re: 80th percentile
I def wouldn't worry! They usually measure the baby big anyway! On of my good friends baby is only in the 13th percentile...so better to be higher!

Re: 80th percentile
trust me....nothing to worry about. my son measured in the 97th percentile most of my pregnancy....i'm diabetic so we knew he would be bigger, and he was....a chubby 9 lbs, 12 ounces....and i LOVED it! my rationale?!?! chubby babies are more to love...hahaha....as long as the baby is healthy, doesn't matter what percentile he/she is in.
