8 week appt. ?
My 8 week appt is this week- what can I expect?

Depends on your doctor. Mine was attended by DH and we were both asked a panel of medical history questions by a nurse. The doctor did and internal sono, saw the heartbeat flicker, check for multiples, talked to us about 12 week ultra screen (if you're 35+), cord blood, breast feeding, answered any questions and that's pretty much it. Then I've been going once a month since then.

I have my appt. on Thur. but I will be 6 weeks and 6 days, Fridays I am new week, so will be 7 on Friday.. guess my doc. does it at 7 weeks.

You're welcome! Forgot one thing.. my office also takes a urine sample each visit to check protein and sugar levels so if you have to "go" when you get there, ask if they'll be taking a sample first!
