8 months-food questions
What kinds of foods are your babies eating? Do they get anything besides purees? Do they have any teeth?
Do you give them puffs? If so are there organic ones? Do they just melt in their mouths? My dd doesnt have any teeth yet...

8 months-food questions
My ped advised starting finger foods at 8 months. DD has some front teeth but they just use their gums to mash the food up. We started with puffs a little before 8 months, just put it in the side of their mouth until they get the idea of how to move it around their mouth and gum it.
I tried steamed veggies, bananas, cheerios, peas. It took time for DD to get used to swallowing different textures and now at 10 months she'll try almost anything.

I started finger foods with DS around 6 months. I started with wagon wheels and arrowroot cookies and then as he got a little older moved on to puffs and other finger foods.
They do have organic puffs. I'm not sure of the brand.
Some kids adapt quicker to solids than others. DS 1 didn't start eating anything solid without gagging until 10 months while DS 2 did it at 6 months.

Re: 8 months-food questions
DS2 is 7 months. I just staarted giving him Happy Baby puffs this week. I've been breaking them in half just in case. He doesn't have teeth yet. DS1 didn't cut a tooth until 13.5 months, but was fully on table food by 10.5 months. They don't need teeth to eat table food.
