8 month old makes grunting noises while eating

8mo DS has been making grunting noises for the last few days while he is BFing and while he eats solids.

At first I thought it was cuz he was constipated from the carrots, because one night he was grunting for a couple hours. But we gave him prunes yesterday and that has passed. Now he is still grunting every time he eats. When he does it while he is BFing, I can feel his little stomach contract.

He did have some reflux issues when he was smaller, but that has gotten better. He also has started spitting up again lately, which he had stopped doing.

Is this something I should be concerned about? Should I take him to the Dr? He doesn't have to go back again for another 6 wks.

I could have wrote the same thing except DD is FF. I gave prunes yesterday as well but she still does the grunt and pushes her hands down. I go to the dr on the 3rd for their next well visit. I am going to ask. I will let you know.
