You can give her the yolk of an egg and mashed potatos. My mother gave my DD pancakes a couple of times also.

ETA: her dinner tonight was stuffed cabbage roll that I threw into the Bullet, and a 4oz cup of veggies that I made - again - pulsed in the Bullet.

Re: 8 month old eating...

At 8 months was when DS decided he wasnt a big fan of baby food either.

I dont put much in a food processor (just really steak or something harder to chew)

I started with meatballs cut up into tiny pieces, mashed potatos, pastina, boiled veggies cut up, pancakes with baby food fruit on it, cut up bananas, etc.

DS is now 10 months old but is basically off baby food, he still will eat fruit at lunch and occassionally a veggie if I dont want to give him what we are having but here is an idea of what he is eating...

Yesterday
Breakfast, 4tbsp of oatmeal cereal, 1/2 a banana cut up
Lunch: bow tie mac (you know the really small soup kind) in chicken broth with cut up chicken meatballs + 1/2 jar of baby food fruit
Dinner: rollotini cut up with meatballs

ETA: if in doubt throw it into the food processor on shred to make it small pieces!
