8-9 month olds & bathtubs
DS is literally climbing out of his infant tub. .
Do you think I can put him in one of those chairy thingys in the tub to keep him secure?

DS has been sitting in the tub on his own since around 7 mo. But he sits well unsupported. He was climbing out of the baby tub as well. I never used one of those infant bath seats but you can give it a try if you dont feel comfortable without it.

I just started putting DD in the tub without anything, I just put down the decals in the bottom for slipping purposes and a guard for the spout and she's off. I can't keep her still. I am still looking for the bumpers for the tub but can't find it.

I put DD in the aqua ring (not sure if thats what its called, its at buy buy baby) at around 9 months because she literally wouldn't stop trying to climb out of the infant tub. Its worked great so far, she hasn't tried to climb out of it yet.
eta dd sits fine, but I'm not comfortable yet with nothing behind her in the tub just in case

If he can sit up unassisted then he can go in one of those bathtub rings in the big bathtub. Or some people buy the little blow up bathtubs to put in the big tub.
