Gianna Christina is here!! My Story!
My first grade class threw me a shower last Monday and I was writing thank you cards. I was on the couch and felt a little water coming out. By the time I got to the bathroom, I felt like I was peeing. This was 3 weeks shy of our due date. We drove to the hospital and they admitted us around 8:15pm. They kept telling me I was having contractions, but didn't feel a thing. They ended up giving me something for the contractions and then I began feeling them after a half hour. We went to another room to be monitored and they told me my contractions were inconsistant. Some would come so quickly and others time would pass before another one. The contractions did get pretty strong and I got my epidural during the night. It made me comfortable enough I was able to get some rest during the night. By 9:30 am, I began pushing. Gianna was born at 11:48am! They layed her on my and it was the most incredible experience ever. We cannot stop looking at her. The 9 months went so quickly and I am so happy we are now a family.
