7.5 week sono and bleeding today! UPDATED!
I just can't seem to win. 7.5 weeks in and I've been on bed rest twice. What gives???? I saw the baby again yesterday and confirmed that the other sac was not viable/empty. He did say it was sitting right on top of my cervix and could have some spotting. Today I was standing at someones cubicle and I felt a gush, went running to the bathroom and here we go again, pouring out of me. I mean really what the heck with this! I ran out of work and called my re office (oh by the way, I graduated last night!) and there were no doctors in so they were going to call the other location. An hour passed and my dr called and asked if I was still bleeding which I was only slighty and really just when i wiped (tmi!). He then tells me that he doesn't want to do a sono bc he feels it will aggrivate the cervix even more and that its probably the remaining sac. He said if bleeding continued I could come in tomorrow during monitoring hours if it was still heavy otherwise wait to see my regular ob next week. Umm how about no? Who the hell wants to wait until next week to know if something is wrong? I mean if it's ending it's ending there isn't anything I can do but at least I'd like to know if it really is that other sac and that there is still a heartbeat with my baby. My DH wants to just go there tomorrow morning so I just might. Hopefully it's the other sac and my little one is ok!
UPDATE:
I am 8 weeks today exactly. I went to my RE this am and they did a sono and there was my LO with his or her heart beating nice and strong. I got a few new pics and what a difference a few days make! I am so relieved to know my LO is ok and that it's just the 2nd sac. She explained where the blood comes from bc I just couldn't get it and now it all makes sense. I am so glad I went. On the up side, I threw my guts up this morning and it never felt so good!! Thanks for all the prayers, they worked! This is going to be a loooon 32 weeks!

How frustrating!
I would definitely go tomorrow. Put your mind at ease instead of waiting according to their calendar.
Hopefully your Dr is right and its the sac that didnt make it. Are you cramping though??? If not, I take that as a good sign!

No cramping at all, it's just like last time but bleeding stopped sooner this time. I'm shocked there is anything left, I thought I bled this bad boy out at 5.5 weeks but there was still something there at 6.5 weeks and much smaller yesterday when I saw it. I just have to hold onto the fact that I saw a heartbeat yesterday, threw up this morning and have no cramping. I guess I am not so smart, because when they say empty sac I just thought nothing in it, so I guess it's filled with blood? How dumb did I just sound right there

i would go tomorrow too. i had two sacs, one was viable and one was not. im 30w pregnant with one  . the second sac did not pass although i was told it could get absorbed. we did see it still there at my 20w sono although it was tiny compared to my . the bleeding could be the other sac, or it could just be bleeding. as annoying as it is, even red blood can be common during pregnancy. but why wait and have to worry about it??

I understand your fear! But I truly think that your doctor seems confident AND the combination of no cramping is a good sign! I will send lots of positive energy towards you and your LO! Keep us posted.

Thanks Ladies, I have an appt with my reg ob Thursday so I will be 1 day shy of 9 weeks. Given the bleeding and what not that I have experienced I am hoping to see my LO again. I miscarried last year at 8.5 weeks so this is going to be a rough week for me although I am much more positive about this pregnancy this time.

Sooo glad to hear all is ok with LO. I am 7w1d today and overanalyze everything. I pretty much have no symptoms and am worried all time. I had a miscarriage at 10 weeks so I am petrified. I completely understand your fear.
I wish I could just fast forward the next 9 months.i know it sounds horrible because I won't enjoy my pregnancy but I feel like I live in fear everyday so I just want them (I am pregnant with twins) to be here already!!!!
I have one more appt. with my RE this wed. I'll be 7w6d. My first OB appt. is when I'm 9w1d, so we are on similar schedules.
Just wanted to let you know you're not alone. Glad all is ok. I can only imagine how scared you must have been.

Thank you for this! I am driving myself crazy and just hope these next 4 weeks go quick at least. I will say that while I feel like 12 weeks will alleviate some stress I know I am a nut case and it won't make much of a difference! lol
I found out at 10 weeks that the baby stopped growing at 8.5 weeks so I have a huge fear going to my OB this week but I am going to try and just stay calm. We'll see how that goes! It's nice to know I'm not alone though, Thank you!!
