Dont care what you think of me as a person you have formed from others opinions but my GOAL is to make sure
EVERYONE HAS A WILL, LIVING PROXY . Tonight My daughter said goodbye to a very close teacher she had when Keith past away.
Just a FYI I heard of the post about me but was not able to reply cause I was at work and it was pulled before I could see the thread. But being I am the person I am, my feelings are to protect those of the possibility of what I went through 6 years ago. UNTIL you have walked a MILE in my shoes DON'T JUDGE,
for the little that I did hear, I NEVER ASKED, I WAS OFFERED or GIVEN and NEVER NOT SAID THANK YOU FOR.
BOTTOM LINE IS YOU MUST HAVE A LIVING WILL AND PROXY ... NO MATTER WHERE YOU ARE in your relationship.

Exactly! Even after it was suggested she edit, she doesn't because then it wouldn't be dramatic. If I thought that TPTB wouldn't mind, I'd re-post the old thread for you Janet to see for yourself that *I* was calling you out for spitting in the faces of people who were nothing but nice and generous to you. And sorry, but I don't buy for a minute that you didn't see it

Am I the only one who does't understand either the subject line of this thread or the point of the thread itself??  I think I am missing something. And FTR, I have no idea who Janet is, I was really just wondering what the point of this thread was.

If she didn't see it how the hell would she know what it was about - which she mentions in her OP 
Kristen I'm fairly sure that what Janet is trying to say is that her DD's old teacher died and so we all need a reminder to have a living will and proxy, although I can only assume that would be relevant if the teacher was on life support.
Janet maybe you should check out the Parenting board, this was recently discussed and I'm sure they would love your input!

A few months ago a post was made about janet, and how she takes advantage of people, fixes contest to win, made up FB of her deceased DH to vote on contest for her. Basically it was an all out shitstorm (which she claims she never saw) anyhoo, a lot was brought out for LIF to see.
So now instead of just mentioning the teacher passing and informing everyone (again) to get a will and health care proxy she brings old drama back with the new informative post.

The point of this thread is to remind everyone to feel bad for Janet, maybe stir up a little drama by referencing a thread that was posted and pulled OVER A YEAR AGO and oh yeah, that everyone should have a living will (although if that was *really* the goal, it would just be about that, not dripping with all the other crap)

I formed my opinion based on my own observations but I'm glad you don't care about them.
We have living wills & yes, I agree that they are important to consider no matter what your end of life wishes are.

But of course, there will be "but seriously why call her out you bully b*tches" no matter what is said.
In the end we all know that she posted this and will run away and pretend she didn't see the responses like always.

I wasn't around for the drama that pre-dates this post so I will say this to the OP: I'm sorry but to someone (like me) who doesn't know the drama, your message - which may actually be a positive one - is lost amidst the rest of the stuff you posted that I don't understand or care to wade through to get at your actual message. If your only GOAL is to promote a message for the sake of others, post that message by itself so that it is clear and helpful, because now I'm really not sure what it is you're trying to say.

The point is have a living will.
Its too bad she comes on to . Its too bad her message gets lost.
Janet, It's too bad your approach to a VERY important subject gets lost because you have to get your "last word" so to speak. I suggest that people would give you a modicum of respect if you came on and said "please get a living will".
No one is looking at that message anymore, and THAT'S what the sadness here is.
I hope you can find some peace in your life and are getting help if you so need. I cant imagine loosing my DH, and I am very sorry for your loss.
If you want to remind people about this, do so. Don't loose your message in the junk that was included.
So very sad.

I always think of what you went through with Keith, but DH and I have not yet had the strength to go through this process and make a living will.
