Opposite of Regrets Only
I'm sending out invitations for my Mom's 60th surprise party soon, and I'm getting tired of chasing down people for RSVPs. Is there a nice way to say, "If you don't RSVP by June 5th, I'm assuming you aren't coming"?

Not really, unfortunately. But definitely stick to "RSVP no later than ____" as opposed to "regrets onlys". I feel that will give better responses.
You'll prob still have to hunt people down though, there will always be people who don't RSVP but have all intentions of being there ..

I agree. Also maybe if you can email people in advance, or approach them face to face if you see them somewhere, that can save a little stress of having to deal with them a few weeks before the event.

Hi!
i would say, please rsvp by june 5 if you will attend. for those who are unable to attend, no need to respond. i know this isnt full proof but atleaset the people who are going to attend know that they better respond or else youll assume they are not coming

Not necessarily...I sent out an Evite for my engagement party a few years ago and about 20+ people didn't respond. And I know that they viewed it. Ughhh...just click a button people...yes, no, or maybe! Don't get me started on RSVP's!

Re: Opposite of Regrets Only
Thanks everyone for the suggestions!
I'm def also going to do my email address. I did that for my Dad's 60th and we still had like 50-70 people who didn't respond, but it helped a little.
People always ask why I make the RSVP date for events so early...I never used to...but now I need the extra time to track down all of the people who refuse to RSVP!
