TIA I really appreciate any feedback.

I have a good recommendation that fits all your needs except delivering at Stony Brook. Alot of OB in the Smithtown area deliver at St. Catherines. They are redoing the maternity ward at that hospital and everyone soon will have private rooms. I delivered DS there. I actually switched from that practice after about 10 years of going there because I wanted to deliver this baby at Stony Brook.( this is before I knew St. Catherines was being redone) Well I'm not happy at the new practice and miss my old practice and will be switching back after baby. The old practice was so much nicer. I looked into three different practices that delivered at stony Brook. Many girls on here go to them. Biggest issue for me was not one of them does blood work and testing in office. Not crazy about that.Plus 12 week sono is done somewhere else as well.I picked one of these places after hearing so many good things. Still not happy. All three places are in not in Smithtown though. Let me know if you want more info!

I believe it's done. I delivered DS there in August & my OB told me they would be done with it in September.

If you are willing to deliver in St. Catherine (which personally I had a great experience with 3 years ago with DS and will be having DS #2 there in 3.5 weeks) I highly recommend Contempary Womens Care in Smithtown.

That was my only complaint as well. Well that and I was not crazy about the Nurses. Though L &D nurses where great. My friend is delivering in Sept at St. Catherines and said her doctors said it would be done this June. Not sure exactly what they are doing, but I know it will be private rooms. I have to ask my friends mom who works there.

I used to go to them and left. I found their wait times to be ridiculous. More often that not I was there 2+ hrs for a routine OB visit. The delivered my twins, and I have no complaints about the care I received, but I would be waiting for so long for office visits. During my 2nd pregnancy I started off with them and left after my ultrascreen when we waited 2.5 hrs in the waiting room. They also wouldn't allow me to attempt a VBAC. They say they have rights to deliver at SBU but will only do so in certain circumstances - for example - you deliver very early (before 30 weeks) or you want a tubal ligation (which they won't do at St. Catherines).
My current dr. is in port jeff, I don't know if you want to travel that far.

I will say all but 1 appointment with this pregnancy I've waited less than a 30 minutes. This time around Lauren they are MUCH better. With Liam I used to wait forever, but not anymore. I'm happier this time more than I was with Liam.
