After all my complaining about teaching posts... i thought i'd post a good one.
Today was the start of Teacher Appreciation Week at our school and I got a ton of stuff - candy, cookies and cakes (I told my students they'd be rolling me down the hall  ) As well as a potted plant from the parents of my kids with a beautiful card stating how happy they are that their child had me. 
This is what makes all the 12 hour days and all the confusion and frustration worth it.
It's so nice to know I'm appreciated - and I'm so glad that I stuck with it through everything.

That's great, you must feel wonderful! And, completely well deserved, you teachers are special people who don't get the recognition or salaries that you should.
