Yankee AND Mets fans: anyone going to the Subway Series at Shea next weekend?
Was wondering if anyone would be there? We will!
DH (the Mets fan  ) and me (the Yankee fan  ) will be there on Friday , May 20th.
I cannot wait, though one of us is going to go home pi$$ed that night .. should be an INTERESTING ride home 
Of course I am hoping the Yanks will continue their winning streak and reclaim "bragging rights" this year

Trust me I'm not thrilled to be going to SHEA ..
BUT I figure it will be sooo worth it to see the Yankees kick some Mets butt
AND there is a good possibility its going to be Pedro vs Randy .. that is gonig to be a classic matchup!!

Well originally it was a definite Pedro vs Johnson start for the Friday game. But since Johnson missed a start, that might have gotten screwed up
Would love to see that matchup though!

DH (a met fan ) and my brother (a yankee fan ) are going to the Sunday game at Shea.
I am trying to get tickets for the friday night game at Shea. I refuse to go to Yankee Stadium. I went last year for a subway series game and didn't like it much so I refuse to go there again.
No offense to any Yankee fans, I just didn't like Yankee Stadium...
Trust me, I'd MUCH rather see a subway series game at YANKEE STADIUM over SHEA.. I CANNOT STAND SHEA STADIUM (and I cannot say that loud enough) IT SUX, (IMO of course )
BUt these were given to us as a gift by a GREAT friend and I'd really love to see a subway series game with my DH ...
It'll actually be the first time he and I have gone to a subway series game together (I've been to games with my brother and friends before, we're all Yankee fans) so going with my hubby (the METS fans) promises to get UGGGGGLY
Everyone -just pray we're not filing for divorce by the weekend, ok?

That's funny...
DH once told me that when he was younger he used to be a Yankee fan but then he stopped liking them and has been a met fan since the early 80's.....
I told him that it's a good thing he switched cuz otherwise there would have been no way I would have married him if he was a yankee fan...
