DH has to work today and tomorrow.
He is a radiation therapist so he has 2 emergencies to treat, both days. I am glad he is helping those people but aslo feel bad he has to work on Christmas Eve and Christmas day.

My cousin and his wife were both in emergency medicine. When they lived in NY they worked EVERY holiday. At least on Christmas it was an 8 hour shift so we would work dinner around their schedule.
I know it's hard

JT has to work too. It really s ucks that he's working on our first married Christmas together, but next year he'll have off for the baby's first Christmas, so I am trying to use that is motivation to keep happy.

Sorry to hear that my DH used to be a nurse and had to work many Christmases and it made me so sad. we used to designate another day as "our christmas" and do something special.
